Chelsea Sanson

Mijn naam is Chelsea en ik ben een door DONA International gecertificeerde doula en GentleBirth zwangerschapsdocent uit de Verenigde Staten. Ik ben sinds 2017 in Nederland en ben sinds 2016 doula- en privé bevallingscursus docent (private child birth educator). Ik heb een passie voor het ondersteunen van gezinnen. Ik vertel hen graag alle opties om hier in Nederland te bevallen en daarmee een positieve geboorte-ervaring te bereiken. Mijn rol als doula is het bieden van emotionele, fysieke en educatieve ondersteuning aan beide ouders voor, tijdens en na de geboorte van hun baby. Omdat ik zelf een expat ben, begrijp ik de uitdagingen van bevallen in een land dat niet het jouwe is en ik streef ernaar families te helpen het Nederlandse medische systeem te begrijpen en erin te navigeren. Ik ondersteun je graag in het Engels, Nederlands of Turks. Ik kijk er naar uit van je te horen.

My name is Chelsea and I am a DONA International certified doula and GentleBirth childbirth educator from the United States. I have been in The Netherlands since 2017 and have been a doula and childbirth educator since 2016. I am passionate about supporting and educating families in their options for birth here in the Netherlands and helping them achieve a positive birth experience. My role as a doula is to provide emotional, physical and educational support to both parents before, during and after the birth of your baby. Being an expat myself I understand the challenges of giving birth in a land that is not your own and I strive to help families understand and navigate the Dutch medical system. I am happy to support you in English, Dutch or Turkish.
