Ik ben Michelle Prevoo, ik woon in Sittard, samen met mijn partner en twee kindjes. Met enorm veel passie voor mijn werk als doula, hoop ik een bijdrage te kunnen leveren in het emotioneel welzijn van alle mama’s in Limburg en grensgebied.
Het krijgen van een kindje is zó ontzettend mooi en magisch, maar er komt ook veel onbekends op je af. Positief terugkijken op dit ‘life-event’ en in het bijzonder de bevalling, is niet altijd vanzelfsprekend, maar wel óh zo belangrijk. Zoals de quote hierboven al aangeeft; het vormt je en het heeft invloed op de hechting met je kindje. Een goede start is daarom enorm belangrijk en daar help ik graag bij. Ik zorg voor alle tools, advies, coaching, liefde, steun en dat alle omstandigheden zodanig zijn, dat jij optimaal kunt ontspannen en zo de natuur volledig zijn gang kan gaan. We zorgen er samen voor dat dit een zo mooi mogelijk moment wordt, dat je voor altijd zal bijblijven en koesteren. Hoe het ook verloopt, ik vind het belangrijk dat jij je gehoord en gezien voelt.
Naast mijn werk als doula, bied ik ook heerlijke zwangerschapsmassages en postpartum massages aan huis of in mijn praktijk in Sittard. Want ‘Mama’s verdienen net zo veel zorg, zachtheid, liefde en aandacht als pasgeborenen, omdat een mama zelf ook pas geboren is!’

Dear mommy’s, dear expectant parent(s),
My name is Michelle Prevoo, I live in Sittard with my partner and two children. With enormous passion for my work as a doula, I hope to contribute to the emotional well-being of all mothers in Limburg and the border area.
Having a baby is so incredibly beautiful and magical, but there are also many unknowns that come your way. Looking back positively on this ‘life event’ and in particular the birth, is not always self-evident, but it’s so important. As the quote above indicates; it shapes you and influences the bonding with your child. A good start is therefore extremely important and I want to help with that. I provide all the tools, advice, coaching, love, support and optimal circumstances for you to relax optimally and allow nature to take its course. Together we will do everything to make this a most beautiful moment possible, one that you will remember and cherish forever. However it goes, I think it’s important that you feel heard and seen.
In addition to my work as a doula, I also offer pregnancy massages and postpartum massages at home or in my practice in Sittard. Because ‘Moms deserve just as much care, gentleness, love and attention as newborns, because a mom is also a newborn herself!’
